Purple is Comfy

OK people, this is my first clothing post in over a year. It's nothing special, but I thought it was fun (and comfortable) to wear.

                      Shorts: Marshall's ($15)

TOMS ($46)  Purple Tights: Old Navy ($8)

* I apologize for the dirty floor, wall and I'm kind of bummed my shoes are dirty. Oh well!

Baby Levi's Shower

Saturday I had the privilege of putting together my sister's baby shower. I was so ecstatic about doing it, and was more than blessed to have a lot of help from close friends and family. About 42 people showed, which was insane. We barely had enough chairs for everybody, but I say the more the merrier! Here are some pics of the wonderful celebration. I love celebrating Life!

For the favors I placed chocolate chip cookies in a CD case, and added a little character with the mustache's

              CANDY, CANDY, AND MORE CANDY!!!

Games included play doh babies, bottle chugging and The Price is Right!

Time well spent ;)

Progress!

I seriously cannot believe how much has been done to my little future homestead! In less than a week they have put the frames, tresses, AND the boards! This is such good news for us considering we have to be out of our apartment on October 5th. Yes, we know. It will be here sooner than we know it. And not only are we moving that day, but my sister is having Baby Levi too! Craziness.

Everything looks so confusing at this point.

                        View from the backyard.
My BFF Kelly and I enjoying a glass of wine at the dining area. :)
I'm attempting to sit on my couch. ;)

It finally looks like a house!

Nephew Levi

This post is dedicated to my one and only sister who is having a baby! I am BEYOND excited to be an Auntie again that I can barely contain myself. Needless to say, she has done a fantastic job with her nursery/Noah's room when it comes to organizing and decorating. Yes my older nephew (Noah) is having to share a room with his baby brother, who is expected in October :)

Stephanie went for a woodland/retro theme for their room.

Baby Noah on the left and ultrasound of baby Levi smiling :)
Steph decorated the letters "N" and "L" out of yarn.

I'D SAY SHE DID A PRETTY GOOD JOB!

My Heart

Many are asking why we are moving to St. Augustine, and there are a couple reasons. First of all,we ABSOLUTELY love it. Ever since Micah and I began dating in 2007, we would take day trips there, and the more we did it, the more we fell in love. The town has such an eclectic feel and I have always been drawn to it because of that. When our best friends moved there we had more of a reason to visit, and every time we left I felt like a piece of my heart was staying behind. I ached to live there. Most importantly, Micah and I feel like this is where God has called us to be. We don't know all the reasons why, but that's the beauty in trusting Him. I don't like to use the saying "God told me" very often if at all, but I do know that He spoke to my heart, as well as Micah's.

They have completed the rough plumbing. They should be putting the foundation down @ the end of the week!

Yesterday we met with our builder and went through our floor plans.

Home

Okay. Where do I begin? It's been almost a year since I have written anything on here and a lot of things have happened since. One huge occurrence is we are moving! We are excited, nervous, and overwhelmed at the same time. Micah and I are moving to our favorite city, St. Augustine. In or minds there is no place better in Florida. I mean, who wouldn't want to reside in the nation's oldest city?

This was a little over a week ago. Nothing had really been done yet.

ONE WEEK LATER...
We went by yesterday and saw this! We were so thrilled to see that it had been started.
It looks so small at this stage. By no means are we building a mansion, but it was still weird. Your initial thought is, "I'm living in that?" Micah reassured me and stated that all houses in this stage tend to look tiny. I'll take his word for it ;)

.... MORE posts to come!
