What a weekend. I am currently recovering from all the stress from moving our stuff to St. Augustine and battling sickness. Needless to say, I am exhausted. As of right now we are going to live with my sister and brother-in-law along with a 6 year old boy and a newborn. Yeah, we are crazy. Todays mix of tunes has a relaxing feel to it, because it's what I need. Hope you enjoy it as I wind down and listen to it myself.

Thank God For Clearance

Black Cotton Dress: Target $5 (on clearance)

Cameo Ring: Belk $6 (on clearance)

Heels: Giani Bini @ Dillards $18 (on clearance - originally $80!)

Sometimes I wonder why on earth people pay full price for clothing. No matter where you are, items will eventually go on sale. This is where having patience can be put to practice. If you REALLY want an item, but it's a little pricey, WAIT. Rest assured it will go on sale! All my items were bought on clearance, and I'm pretty proud of discovering these gorgeous shoes. I would seriously wear every day if I could!

Sew in Love

Seamstress Dress: Marshall's $16 (on clearance)

Oxfords: Wanted brand at Marshall's $17

I cannot even tell you how many times I saw this dress and wanted it, and then told myself ,"maybe later." This time around I noticed it was on clearance, and I could not resist. I'm not much of a seamstress, although I have made a legitimate and functional quilt. Like I stated in my previous post, I really don't care anymore. Whether I am a seamstress or not, this dress is adorable. It's light and comfortable, and can be played up or down. The oxfords just bring some vintage flavor to the whole mix. And don't forget, I love in Florida, so this is perfect for our fall weather!

Classy Hipster

Striped Shirt: Marshall's $16  Black Vest: Gap $5 (on clearance)

Jeggings: Target $20  Glasses: Claire's $12

Betsey Johnson Watch: $65 @ Dillards

Pink Flats: Target $10

This is the first time I have put this outfit together, and I must say I'm digging the look. It's the little things in this outfit that make a big statement. All in all it was a pretty easy mesh, and I'm sure I will wear it again. Also, this was my first time venturing to wear fake glasses in over 5 years. I always get nervous, but today I told myself I didn't care what others said or thought. It was fun to wear, and that's what I love about style. You get to have a blast with it, and it says a lot about who you are. I think I'll try coming out of my comfort zone more often!
